I received as an ARC courtesy of the authorAt first I thought that this book would have been a literal continuation of Julie and Jack's story from the first book in this series, Inseparable, but once I read the synopsis on Goodreads, I was kind of bummed but still excited for the sequel to such a great and dynamic book.I adored how Jack's family , from Inseparable, was extremely supportive of the new and much needed changes in his life, so when the story began with them, along with Polly, going down to the Bayou to visit them for Thanksgiving I was excited to get to know more about his family.I was equally glad and peeved that Bella Chal chose to bring the love-triangle immediately into the story. I say equally because I saw the benefits of the love-triangle but the simple fact that it was present annoyed me, so that's why I was glad and peeved.Something about myself...I cannot STAND love-triangles, I see no purpose in them except to add drama onto an already dramatic story (because that's usually the case). I have yet to find an exception to this aversion.Once the initial relationships were confirmed or identified I was curious to see how Ms. Chal would spin the story (what type of drama would ensue). She did not disappoint, although I have to say that even though I loved Polly in Inseparable, I almost came to a strong dislike of her character in this book. The whole sleeping with more than one member of a family is a huge ick factor to me, but I have to give props to Ms. Chal for how she transitions from cousin to cousin in a very nice and tasteful way.All through the book Kurt was a favorite character of mine, and in the beginning Charlotte was looking to fit into that category, but when she began to act finicky with her new flame, all because of a fear she had and didn't want to name and was too chicken to break things off with Christopher instead of still stringing him along, she went into the same list that Polly found herself in (non-favorite). But I do see a possible continuation of their story, in the next book maybe? hint, hintAll-in-all this was a great book.

This was a great book. I like that it kept the relationships between the characters and the time line realistic. Showing the complexity of our own inner battles when trying to decisions about our lives and knowing when we're using are hearts or our heads. And how sometimes we have to just go for what we want wholehearted.I'd read this book again and again.

These people are easy to care about and like. This story is easy to read and is a continuance of characters you meet in her 1st book "Inseparable" plus new ones. Hope there will be a 3rd book to concentrate on another couple that are just getting started in this book.

It was OK, but I expected more plot!

I wish it would have given some kind of an indication it was a second book in a series. I had no idea. The book was really good, but would have been better had I been able to read the first book before hand.
