I love this Bible!! I wasn't sure at first whether or not to buy it, since I've never bought a Bible on my own (the one I have was given to me by my parents in 2005), and I certainly have never tried to find a foreign-language Bible. I didn't know where to start to be quite honest.I'm currently learning French, Spanish, and German (mostly by teaching myself although I've been taking French courses at my college). I want to be able to learn the language quicker and easier, and I figured the best way to do it was to start reading in French. I also recently (January 2015) got into the habit of reading my Bible every day, so it made sense to start off my foreign-language book collection with a Bible!First of all, the Bible is so much more beautiful than I thought it would be. My copy does not look anything like the posted photo -- it's so much prettier! I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and saw all sorts of colors and designs on the cover. It's great!Second, the font is a little small but many Bibles are printed that way. It's still very readable, and there ARE gutter margins. There are notes before each book of the Bible (I am assuming they're brief histories of the people in the book and why the book was written), and there are some headers/titles before different verses such as "L'amour de l'Eternal pour son peuple" before Malachi 1:2, or "A Jerusalem: Mort et Resurrection de Jesus" before Luke 22 starts. Finally, all of the book names are translated into French (as expected). Luke is "Luc", Malachi is "Malachie", 1 Kings is "1 Rois", and my personal favorite, Revelation is "Apocalypse". It's definitely not bad, but sometimes I get a little confused when I'm looking for James and I have to remember that I'm looking for "Jacques" in this translation. But it's really fun to see how all of these names translate into another language! In the back, there are black and white maps, a glossary, and a Hebrew calendar. At the very beginning, there is a list of ways on how to begin reading the Bible every day, questions to ask yourself as you're reading, and notes on the translation of the Bible and some of the history. Once I'm a little more advanced in French, I hope to read these notes and use these questions to study. It's a really cool Bible and I'm so glad I ordered it! (Also, it came a day earlier than the "earliest expected delivery day"! It was really cool to come home and find it waiting in my mailbox!!)

C'est difficile de trouver des livres en français sur Amazon. Toutefois j'adore cette version: bien traduite et à prix abordable. C'est ce que j'appelle une bonne affaire !

This was for my wife. She likes it very much. The book looks to be well made. Since I am not a French speaker I can't make any comments regarding the translation.
