Endorsed by Donald Trump: "Houston has written a book that should be read by all high school students and parents who are looking for a productive and successful future. 'Schooled for Success' is a terrific handbook for learning the basics in an easy-to-read format. A job well done!"

In this personal narrative, Houston shares true stories of his motivation. On his first day of high school, Houston attended a welcoming assembly for the freshman class. The leadership teacher announced, “If you get good grades in high school, graduate, go on to a good college, graduate with a degree, and get a good job, most of you will make a million dollars during the course of your lifetime.” One million dollars over forty years, working from age twenty-two until sixty-two, would be $25,000 per year, Houston thought. He made a goal right then and there to make one million dollars not just over his lifetime, but by high school graduation. Houston wants to encourage members of his generation to ask for what they want, set goals, date those goals, and work hard to reach them. Houston invites you to learn how he became motivated by what he was learning in high school to set a goal to graduate from high school a millionaire. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

I don't do narcissism, but Master Gunn is well versed in the art of adoring oneself. This product almost works as a series of blog entries, but if a reader is hoping to actually glean useful information about growing wealth as a teenager, they will be sorely disappointed in this publication. It really is nothing more than a moderate length "Look at me!!"Very disappointing are the young man's frequent comments about the worthlessness of his education. Since he is not learning the things that he is interested in, he complains often about the time he wastes in the classroom. This actually becomes quite amusing as the reader notices the poor grammar, the sloppy sentence structures, and lack of narrative flow; all things that could have been avoided simply by taking advantage of the very learning he disdains. The one quote that I found most discouraging was "Good is good enough." To me, that glorifies mediocrity as opposed to the classic American ideal of striving for excellence. As the booklet was coming to a close, this idea was mentioned numerous times, and it left me feeling a bit sorry for the writer. Perhaps in another situation, this young man could have developed a more industrious attitude and actually made a difference in the lives of his peers.

What a brilliant topic and fantastic idea to write a book about! It is so important for every generation these days to recognize the financial change in our country. After reading this book, I have even more ideas how to educate my two children about investing and finance. To star with, I purchased two more copies for them to read. In my opinion, everybody should read this book and make the change in their own life!

This book should not only be read by our youth, but also us as parents. Houston asked questions and didn't accept the, "because I said so" answers that can sometimes defeat our children. We as parents can ask our kids these same questions, encourage them to seek knowledge the way Houston has. Thanks, Houston for sharing your experiences.

Houston Gunn is a force to be reckoned with. Still a teenager, he has managed to captivate and thrill audiences with his quest to become a millionaire before graduation. My favorite part is the "two true things and one false thing about me" story, in which even his teachers don't comprehend one of his truthful claims: he is a hard money lender on distressed real estate property investments.I gave it four stars instead of five because of the room for improvement in grammar and usage. But I feel as though that nit-picking will have as much effect as the "C" grade that FedEx founder Fred Smith reportedly received for the paper that eventually provided the framework for "When it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight."Whew. Give ME four stars for a run-on sentence. At any rate, GREAT reading for any young person or adult that's interested in building wealth.

This book was a wonderful read written by my own Grandson, Houston Gunn. I am such a proud Grandma. Yes, I am the Grandma Linda written about in the book. The chapter "Planting a rich tree" made my cry. I am so very proud of this wonderful achievement at such a young age. I get to experience some of this journey with you. Days like today watching you do 2 radio interviews and the Upstart Business Journal interview and also to be with you when you get your mail after school, to see you get to open and read a personal letter from Donald J.Trump is so amazing. I am so blessed to share this wonderful experience with you. I do hope you get that blue corvette and the million bucks.Grandma Linda

I bought Houston's book for my daughter as a Christmas present, but gave it to her early. She will be taking a "Women in Finance" class in high school in January and I thought his book would be a great pre-requisite. She started reading it as soon as she got it, and is loving it. She is very excited, now, for her class, and I believe a whole new world is opening up for her, thanks to this book. If only I had had a book like this when I was a teenager! Thank you, Houston! I believe you and your book could be the start of a brand new movement!

This book was amazing, not only did I had the privileage to read it, but my 21 yr old son read it as well. My son was so inspired by it, that he began writting his own goals, he is looking forward to meeting this young man in Vegas. We thank God for you Houston for wanting to write a book to inspire a young generation who's minds are train with school, college and go work for someone else. I like the fact that your book is geared to entrepreneurship and sharing with others how to do it. Houston job well done! I recommend every parent to have their teens and everyone who will like to be inspire by schooled to success to read it.Regards,Nancy De Leon

WOW! Houston Gunn is a young man on a mission. His book is inspiring and full of great information for anyone of any age. Even though he wrote the book to inspire other teens, I as an adult have found inspiration and lessons within his book. I have read the book twice and even interviewed Houston on my radio show. This young man is an inspiration to all who meet and talk with him. He is very grounded and knows what he wants and is not afraid to ask for it. As he states in his book "if you do not ask for what you want, you will never know if you would have or could have gotten it." When talking with him on my show I had to keep reminding myself that I was talking to 16 year old. His wisdom is beyond his years. If you are looking for a book to inspire your teens or even need some inspiration yourself, then please buy this book and read it.
