This is book two in the Security Experts series and it does not disappoint. Julianna just knows that her ex-fiance is not really dead and that he is out to get her. How is she supposed to convince anyone else that her concerns are real? The only person she can turn to will not be happy to see her but she has to try. Bradley can not believe his luck. Why is Julianna here to see him of all people? Her fiance is dead because of him and now she wants him to believe that not only is he not dead but he is out to get her. Maybe she has lost her mind but something is certainly going on and someone is trying to hurt her. When she receives a text message saying "I did it for you", Bradley decides to keep her safe and get to the bottom of this but how will he keep his heart safe as well?

Lifeline is the second in the Security Experts Series (or the third if you count Last Target, which introduces some of the same characters), and it doesn't disappoint. Julianne Grace feared her ex-fiancé for good reason. Then he was killed in Navy Seal training activity. His Commander himself, Bradley Stone, came to inform Julianne of Darrell's death. But Julianne has reason to suspect Darrell is not dead, and she fears for her life. She runs to Commander Stone for help, hoping he'll believe her. He thinks she may be crazy, but wants to protect her. The events following cause Bradley to waffle between believing her that Darrell is alive and wondering if she is causing all these things to happen to get secrets from his latest project. Lots of adventure, suspense, and twists and turns as Julianne and Bradley are attracted to each other, yet suspicious of each other as well. What is real and what is not? Who can they trust? Is Julianne losing her mind? Is she a spy? Read and find out!

Lifeline by Christy Barritt. I found this book very entertaining. I love Christian based mysteries and Christy Barritt is great at writing that type of story. The characters are believable. The situations are very close to reality and the character reactions allow the reader to think about the Christian applications and "what would I do if faced with this type of situation". I know it is fiction but it leads to reality based solutions to doubts and behaviour traits we all have encountered. Watching the characters work through trust and faith issues helps to see how this could be done in reality.

This book continues the story of the "security experts" who work for what is called Eyes. We meet Julianne Grace, who is running for her life and convinced her deceased fiance is out to get her and everyone close to her. She runs to Eyes, where she meets up with Bradley Stone, a man who used to know her fiance, Darrell, and who she needs to protect her in the days to come. This was a fantastic story with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. I loved it and am anxious to read book 3. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful romantic suspense. This story deals with domestic abuse and it's after affects in a very realistic way. I adored Julianne and Bradley such awesome characters. Can't wait to read more by Christy Barritt.

Christy Barritt has a great gift for writing a story that holds the reader's attention. Bradley and Julianne are faced with challenges that are unbelievable. Julianne was abused in the past and believes her dead ex-fiance isn't really dead. The only person she can think to turn to is Bradley Stone, the Commander of the SEAL team that her ex-fiance had served with. As Bradley and Julianne search for the truth, they face danger and confusion. Through all of the problems, they cling to their faith in God. This book is so good. Take the time to read it.
