Great book that really hits at the heart of the evangelical dilemma right now. Too many people see faith as a means to get your ticket to heaven punched so you can live the rest of your life as you please. Bill Hull reveals what the Bible really says on the subject, and how the secret to the "abundant life" Jesus promised, lies in abandoning our own interests to pursue His.

I imagine if church leaders truly hear what Bill Hull is saying in Conversion & Discipleship, it will change stuff - a lot of stuff - from the way the gospel is preached from the pulpit, to people's understanding of the purpose of the church, to church members actually engaging in making disciples and multiplying churches. Pastors who read this should visit thebonhoefferproject.com. Conversion & Discipleship is textbook for this year-long, online discipleship experience with the author, Bill Hull.

We need to see that salvation is the first step of the gospel not the end. The author does a great job of expanding the idea. Every Christian should read this.

A very challenging read as I wrestled with the author's premise connecting discipleship and salvation as a non-negotiable for teaching a valid engagement of the gospel of Jesus Christ

This is a great philosophy for ministry that reminds us of the basics. We must make disciples that make disciples.

This book encapsulated everything I thought, wrote and teach about. Excellent read for disciples of Christ
